Carle Health is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President, Finance to provide strategic financial leadership across our integrated healthcare system. As a key member of the Executive, Management & Leadership team, the Vice President, Finance will play a pivotal role in supporting Carle Health’s mission to improve patient health outcomes through community-based care, advanced medical treatment, and innovative research. In this position, you will serve as the senior financial leader responsible for guiding financial strategy, ensuring fiscal stability, and enabling growth for Carle Health. You will oversee core finance functions including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and analysis, capital planning, revenue cycle oversight, and financial reporting. Partnering closely with executive leadership, clinical leaders, and operational teams, you will translate organizational priorities into sound financial plans that support quality care, patient safety, and long-term sustainability. The Vice President, Finance will lead the development and management of the annual operating and capital budgets, providing data-driven insights and recommendations to optimize resource allocation. You will ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial reports, maintain strong internal controls, and uphold compliance with GAAP, healthcare regulations, and reimbursement requirements. With a strong understanding of healthcare finance and reimbursement models, you will help Carle Health navigate evolving payment structures, regulatory changes, and industry trends. This role requires a leader who is comfortable working in a complex healthcare environment, with the ability to balance financial stewardship with Carle Health’s commitment to quality, safety, and community impact. You will champion initiatives that drive cost efficiency, margin improvement, and operational effectiveness while maintaining a clear focus on patient-centered outcomes. You will evaluate and prioritize strategic investments, new service lines, and capital projects, providing clear financial analysis to support executive decision-making.
