Trust And Safety Analyst (CY)

This role plays a key part in ensuring regulatory compliance and maintaining high trust and safety standards across digital platforms operating in a fast-evolving online environment. You will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting global regulations and industry standards, helping the business stay ahead of legal and compliance requirements. Working closely with leadership and cross-functional teams, you will translate complex legal and regulatory frameworks into clear, actionable insights that guide decision-making. The environment is dynamic and detail-oriented, requiring strong analytical thinking and a proactive mindset. You will contribute directly to shaping internal policies, improving compliance processes, and strengthening user protection frameworks. This position is ideal for a compliance professional who enjoys research-driven work with real operational impact in the digital content space.

Accountabilities:

  • Monitor, research, and analyze relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards affecting digital platforms, including frameworks such as the EU Digital Services Act and Online Safety regulations.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and reports on legislative developments, identifying risks, opportunities, and business implications.
  • Provide clear findings, insights, and recommendations to leadership and key stakeholders to support compliance decision-making.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of internal compliance processes, policies, and operational procedures.
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives to ensure regulatory and trust & safety requirements are embedded in new projects and product developments.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends in trust and safety within the digital content and online platform ecosystem.
  • Support audits of internal content moderation rules to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance alignment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Public Policy, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in compliance, regulatory analysis, legal research, or a similar role, preferably in digital platforms or online content industries.
  • Strong understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks related to digital content, online safety, or platform governance.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to non-legal stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail with a proactive and structured approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
