AuthoraCare Collective is currently seeking a RN for our After-hours department supporting our Burlington service area . The position is part-time every other Saturday/Sunday 8:00am - 8:30pm . CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. Job Summary Assess and identify patient/caregiver problems, establish nursing patient/caregiver care goals, and identify and implement interventions for all agency programs. Document outcomes of care. Work with physician to establish and implement a medical plan of care for the patient. Work closely with other members of the interdisciplinary group and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with group members, patients, caregivers, physicians, pharmacists, and other health care professionals and community service organizations. Establish and maintain a therapeutic relationship with patients/caregivers to provide emotional support and teaching. Requirements Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Currently licensed as an RN in North Carolina and in good standing with NCBON One year of experience in an acute, hospice, home health setting, or long-term care setting CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) is required Valid state-issued driver’s license Must have own transportation and carry automobile liability insurance at limits required by agency About the Mission AuthoraCare Collective empowers people to be active participants in their care journey, enabling them to live on their own terms through personalized support for mind, body, and spirit.
