Location: DFW Metroplex & surrounding areas (projects range from Fort Worth to Paris, TX)

Work Setting: Field-based; outdoor construction environment with frequently changing job sites

Travel: Local travel required to various job sites (no overnight travel, but must be flexible to changing locations)

Compensation: $18–$20/hour starting pay + overtime (typical 50-hour work weeks)

Position Summary

We are hiring multiple Laborers to support growing underground utility construction operations across the DFW Metroplex. This is a true entry-level opportunity offering hands-on training, consistent hours, and a clear path for career growth within the utilities and construction industry.

Laborers will work alongside experienced crews installing natural gas distribution systems and supporting underground infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for individuals looking to build a long-term career, gain valuable skills, and advance into higher-paying positions over time.

This is a high-volume hiring initiative with immediate openings and long-term growth potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist crews with daily construction activities on underground utility projects
  • Handle tools, materials, and equipment as directed by crew leaders
  • Dig, backfill, and support trenching operations
  • Assist with pipe installation and general labor support
  • Help with traffic control, including placing cones and flagging
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Follow all safety procedures and site requirements
  • Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors

Qualifications

Required:

  • No prior experience required – training provided
  • Ability to perform physical labor (lifting 50+ lbs, bending, working in trenches)
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Willingness to work around heavy equipment and active construction zones
  • Ability to work approximately 50 hours per week, including occasional Saturdays
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Reliable transportation to various job sites
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and team-oriented mindset

Preferred:

  • Prior construction or utility labor experience
  • Experience with underground utilities or pipeline work
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus and may increase pay
