About the Position

Job Title

Registered Nurse – NICU/PEDS Transport

Location

Tampa, FL

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

Provide specialized nursing care in a NICU setting with a 1:1 patient ratio
Perform helicopter and ambulance transport of neonatal and pediatric patients
Utilize Cerner electronic health record system for accurate and timely documentation
Adhere to unit protocols within a Level II Trauma and Level I Pediatric Trauma facility
Participate in weekend rotations as required per scheduling guidelines
Float within the hospital as needed based on staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

Active Florida RN license or valid compact license at time of submission
Minimum of 2 years of NICU and/or pediatric transport nursing experience
Helicopter and ambulance transport experience required
Current BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required
Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to qualify
Must be able to pass a facility EKG exam (up to 3 attempts permitted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior experience with Cerner charting system
Experience working in a short-term acute care hospital environment
