City and State South Hill, Virginia Job Summary Electrical Senior Project Manager – Hyperscale Data Center Electrical Contractor | Mission Critical / Hyperscale | South Hill, VA We are seeking a qualified Senior Project Manager for an electrical contracting client to lead hyperscale data center electrical construction in South Hill, VA. This is a senior leadership role carrying full financial and operational responsibility for a large-scale hyperscale electrical scope. Candidates must have direct hyperscale or large-scale colocation data center electrical construction experience and must have built their career within an electrical contracting firm. General contracting, MEP, or owner-side backgrounds will not be considered. Pay Range 165k-$185k per year Key Responsibilities Carry full performance responsibility for hyperscale data center electrical construction including financial oversight, construction quality, schedule adherence, and owner satisfaction Manage project budgets from $30M and above including monthly cost reporting, forecasting, and change order management Develop and maintain master project schedules aligned to hyperscale owner program requirements and delivery milestones Serve as the primary client interface with hyperscale owner representatives, general contractors, and commissioning agents Direct and mentor a full project team including PMs, APMs, project engineers, and project administrators Coordinate complex critical systems integration including high-voltage switchgear, UPS, generator systems, transformers, and HVAC electrical Manage RFI, submittal, and change order processes with rigorous documentation standards and timely resolution Drive long-lead equipment procurement strategy including switchgear, transformers, and other critical gear Oversee commissioning coordination including Cx documentation, punch list management, and systems turnover Maintain BIM and VDC coordination with owner and GC virtual design teams Lead all project meetings and ensure thorough documentation of decisions, action items, and project records Qualifications 10+ years of electrical construction project management experience required Minimum 5 years of direct hyperscale or large-scale colocation data center electrical PM experience required — candidates without this will not be considered Must have come from an electrical contracting firm; GC, MEP coordination, or owner-side backgrounds will not be considered Proven track record managing electrical scopes of $30M or greater on mission critical projects Deep understanding of data center power distribution, redundancy architecture, and critical systems commissioning processes Strong financial acumen including cost forecasting, billing management, and change order strategy Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project or Primavera P6 OSHA 30 required; PMP certification a plus Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent professional experience Compensation & Benefits $165k-$175k per year salary commensurate with experience Company Vehicle / Travel Reimbursement / Per Diem / Relocation Assistance Highly competitive benefits package, full details provided upon offer Position Number 27860 Equal Employment Opportunity Statement Quality Labor Management (QLM) provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, transgender status or sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, amnesty, or status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
