Posting Summary - Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Research Assistant to provide support for the Behavioral Economics, Addiction, and Health Promotion (BEACON) Lab for the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (GSAPP). Among the key duties of the position are the following: Manages participant scheduling and coordination while maintaining participant confidentiality. Oversees participant data collection. Handles data cleaning, computation, and analysis. Conducts literature reviews. Communicates with the IRB.
FLSA - Nonexempt
Salary Details - $22 - $30/hourly

Work Arrangement - Consistent with the current application of Rutgers Policy 60.3.22 or the applicable provisions of relevant collective negotiations agreements, this position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement. Flexible work arrangements are not permanent, subject to change or discontinuation, and contingent on the employee receiving approval in the FlexWork@RU Application System.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience - Bachelor's degree in behavior analysis, applied psychology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Two years relevant experience in a university research laboratory setting.
Certifications/Licenses
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Good communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented and highly responsive to feedback. Experience conducting research in behavior analysis, behavioral economics, or a related field. Experience using data analysis software, such as R, SPSS, GraphPad Prism. Familiarity with the IRB. Individuals will be required to obtain CITI training in human subjects research if they have not done so already.
Preferred Qualifications - Master's degree in related field.
