Neurologist (Part-Time) - Queens, NY
Job Type: Part-Time (Onsite)
Practice Setting: Primary Care & Multi-Specialty Outpatient
Schedule: Flexible | Up to 16 hours per week | No On-Call
A well-established primary care and multi-specialty outpatient practice is seeking a Part-Time Neurologist to join its growing neurology services in Queens, NY. This role offers schedule flexibility and the opportunity to provide high-quality neurological care within a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive neurological evaluations, including history, physical, and mental status exams
Diagnose and manage neurological conditions such as epilepsy, stroke, migraines, dementia, Parkinson's disease, and multiple sclerosis
Order and interpret diagnostic studies including EEG, EMG, MRI, and CT scans
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Prescribe medications and recommend therapeutic interventions
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and prognosis
Collaborate with primary care providers and specialty colleagues to ensure coordinated care
Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR
Stay current with evidence-based neurology practices and continuing education
MD or DO with completion of an ACGME-accredited Neurology residency
Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology (preferred)
Minimum 5 years of clinical neurology experience preferred
Active New York medical license or ability to obtain
Strong diagnostic, communication, and patient management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an outpatient setting
