Job Description

We’re looking for the rare one — the person who can build, solve problems, lead a crew, and still get their hands dirty.

If you’re the person everyone calls when something needs to be fixed, figured out, or finished right the first time, keep reading.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Hands-on construction across multiple trades (carpentry, framing, finish, light electrical/plumbing a plus)
  • Running small projects or crews
  • Solving problems in the field and keeping jobs moving
  • Reading plans and executing work correctly
  • Working directly with ownership on a variety of projects

You Might Be A Fit If You:

  • Have 7+ years of construction experience
  • Are highly skilled in at least one trade and competent in several
  • Show up on time and take pride in your work
  • Can lead
  • Think like an owner, not just an employee
  • Communicate well with clients and crew
  • Care about improving the lives of those we serve

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Public works experience
  • Proven project management or foreman experience
  • Exceedingly strong troubleshooting skills

What We Offer:

  • Competitive pay based on skill
  • Steady work
  • A team that values craftsmanship and accountability
  • Opportunity to grow
Compensation:

$75,000 - $120,000 yearly

Responsibilities:
  • Perform skilled work across multiple trades, including carpentry, framing, finish work, and general construction
  • Interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications
  • Complete repairs, installations, and modifications on a variety of construction projects
  • Assist with layout, measurements, and material preparation
  • Troubleshoot field issues and develop practical solutions
  • Maintain high standards for workmanship and job site safety
  • Coordinate with supervisors, subcontractors, and crew members to keep projects on schedule
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and light construction equipment
  • Ensure proper care and maintenance of tools and equipment
  • Assist in training or guiding less experienced crew members when needed
  • Maintain clean and organized job sites
  • Follow company policies, project specifications, and safety regulations
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on construction experience
  • Demonstrated experience in multiple trades such as carpentry, framing, finish work, drywall, concrete, or minor electrical/plumbing
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in the field
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and common construction equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor in outdoor conditions
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Knowledge of job site safety practices and OSHA standards

Preferred Qualifications

  • Foreman or crew lead experience
  • Public works or government project experience
  • Equipment operation experience
  • OSHA certification or safety training
