Job Description

Our client, a leading facilities management organization, is seeking a Mechanical Technician 2 to join their team. As a Mechanical Technician 2, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting building operations and ensuring the safety and efficiency of mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mechanical Technician 2

Location: Oklahoma City, OK

Pay Range: $28.00/hour

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

What's the Job?

• Perform maintenance and repairs on Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Furniture, and facility systems to meet applicable standards.
• Conduct predictive, planned, preventative, and routine maintenance, including equipment rounds and service requests.
• Assist in developing and improving preventative maintenance programs, schedules, work instructions, SOPs, and operational procedures.
• Ensure all duties are performed safely, adhering to established work standards and practices.
• Monitor and evaluate building systems to optimize performance and operational efficiency.

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or GED equivalent; additional trade school, union training, military service, or college education is desirable.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in commercial building preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Valid state driver’s license required.
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and Building Management System (BMS).
• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
