Job Description

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Machine Operator (Production Operative) to join their team. As a Machine Operator (Production Operative), you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator (Production Operative)

Location: Owatonna, MN

Pay Range: $22/hour

Shift: 4pm - 2:30am, Monday through Thursday

What's the Job?

• Safely set up and operate equipment to optimize machine capability and product output
• Apply knowledge and skill to troubleshoot and address routine equipment malfunctions
• Ensure high-quality goods are produced by checking for defects or malfunctions
• Follow safety policies, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to production activities

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• At least 2 years’ experience in manufacturing or related roles
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of machinery and equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various environmental conditions
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
