Lead a patrol team of three or more officers, including Department of Army Civilian Police (DACP), Military Police (MP) and Department of Army Security Guards (DASG).
Provide direct oversight of all stages of investigations conducted by assigned DACP and MP personnel.
Provide sworn testimony based on investigative findings.
Reports team performance and training needs to leadership.
Conduct various law enforcement training programs for military and civilian personnel on the installation.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) experience responding to and investigating emergency calls, complaints and other calls for service; exercising search and arrest authority; 2) experience conducting traffic patrol using specialized equipment such as radar, Lidar and breathalyzer; and 3) experience utilizing word processing and web-based law enforcement computer programs to complete reports, to document incidents, or criminal investigations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). Creditable specialized experience may have been gained in work on a police force; through service as a military police officer; in work providing visitor protection and law enforcement in parks, forests, or other natural resource or recreational environments; in performing criminal investigative duties; or in other work that provided the required knowledge and skills.
