Duties

• You will provide personnel clerical services and technical support in a variety of personnel areas including responsibility for coordinating actions for processing by the Human Resource Services Center.
• You will review and coordinate all personnel actions such as appointments, change in status, transfers, separations and promotions.
• You will check Requests for Personnel Actions for appropriate authorization and contact persons as necessary to obtain data to complete personnel records.
• You will maintain in-depth subject matter knowledge concerning processing and reviewing personnel actions.
• You will apply classification standards to positions in a variety of lower level clerical and technical occupations.
• You will serve in all facets of HR. (Labor and Employee Relations, Staffing, Classification, and Training).

Qualifications At the GS-07 Level: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Completing onboarding tasks, reviewing new hire paperwork, creating casefile for staffing, labor, and relations, checking in new hires, etc; 2) Responding to inquiries on procedures for disciplinary actions, grievances, appeals, etc; and 3) Reviewing and coordinating all personnel actions such as appointments including temporary and intermittent, change in status, transfers, separations, and promotions. At the GS-06 Level: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Completing onboarding tasks, reviewing new hire paperwork, creating casefile for staffing, labor, and relations, checking in new hires, etc; 2) Reviewing and assisting with personnel actions such as appointments including temporary and intermittent, change in status, transfers, separations, and promotions.
