Flight Attendant

Endeavor Air Flight Attendants provide a safe and memorable on-board experience for every customer, every day, on every flight by creating a warm and welcoming environment for our guests. We are looking for service-oriented professionals with a passion for customer service and helping others.

Our Industry-leading Flight Attendant Training Package Includes:

Responsibilities include ensuring the safety and comfort of customers, projecting a positive attitude, performing work activities in accordance with established standards, responding effectively during emergency situations, preparing and serving meals, providing customer service assistance, effectively communicating, ensuring compliance with policies, working independently and as part of a team, managing time, adjusting to changing work conditions, using mobile devices and computers, and being engaged and informed on all company and departmental communication.

Minimum Qualifications

• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Ability to report and be ready to work at your assigned base within 2 hours (2.5 hours for NYC bases).
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent. BA/BS college degree preferred or a combination of education and related experience.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently.
• Age requirement of 21 years minimum.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Possess and maintain a valid passport and equivalent travel documents to freely enter and exit all destinations where Endeavor Air flies.
• Meet established standards, policies, laws and regulations including Federal Aviation Administration Regulations.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Exceptional customer service skills and abilities.
• One (1) year of customer service experience, two (2) years preferred.
• Ability to maintain a high level of personal decorum, professional conduct and personal appearance.
• Ability to comply with our Professional Appearance Guidelines.
• No tattoos on hands or fingers.
• Ability to cover non-hand/finger tattoos with make-up or clothing.
• No more than two pairs of earrings in the earlobes. One nose piercing may be worn on the side of the nose only.
• Ear stretching gauges are not permitted.
• Familiarity with mobile handheld devices.
• Successfully complete four (4) weeks of Flight Attendant Initial Training. This includes two weeks of full-time remote virtual classroom training for which candidates must have access to a quiet environment conducive to learning, and two weeks at the Endeavor Learning Center (ELC) in Minneapolis. When training in Minneapolis, Endeavor provides air transportation, hotel accommodation, and ground transportation to the ELC.
• Successfully complete IOE, the Initial Operating Experience (on the job evaluation), during the two weeks immediately following graduation.

Physical Requirements

• Candidate height must not exceed 5'11" or 71.5 inches when measured without shoes (with flat feet), due to the size of our aircraft.
• Able to reach a minimum of 6'3" or 76 inches when measured without shoes, from flat feet to fingertips, to access overhead bins and retrieve stored items.
• Sit in any jumpseat with seatbelt and shoulder harness fastened without a seatbelt extension. Jumpseat is 21" at the widest part of the seat.
• Open emergency exits and close aircraft doors weighing up to 45 pounds and ability to push, pull, or move a beverage cart requiring approximately 32 pounds of force.
• Hear and respond to customer and crew communications in situations with high background noise.
• Work in aircraft aisles and galleys, while standing, reaching (extended in front and to the side of the body and above the head), walking, kneeling, bending, twisting, and working in cramped or awkward positions. Walk and fit comfortably down the aircraft aisle while facing forward and fit quickly through any exit.
• Sit or stand for long periods of time.
• Able to and willing to work in confined spaces and manage potential allergens such as nuts, perfumes, cleaning solvents, fumes, animals, and pet dander. Serve alcoholic beverages and meals containing beef, pork and seafood.

Professional Appearance Requirements for Flight Attendants

Our Flight Attendants are the face of Endeavor Air as they spend the most time with our customers. They must focus on safety, customer service, and teamwork while delivering exceptional service and creating a memorable experience for our customers.

The flight attendant uniform represents professional pride in our airline, safety, commitment to customer service, and teamwork.

To help ensure commitment to the Endeavor brand and customer service, the ' Flight Attendant Style Requirements' our flight attendants adhere to on the job should stand out during the hiring process and the Initial Qualification Learning Program.

The following is inclusive of, but not limited to, the Endeavor Air ' Flight Attendant Style Requirements' :

TATTOOS : Visible tattoos are not permitted and must be covered by clothing or waterproof make-up. Tattoos on the hands or fingers are never permitted; covering with make-up is not an option due to frequent handwashing required on the job. Bandages, watches or jewelry may not be used to cover tattoos.

HAIR & NAILS : Hair color must be a natural-looking hue. No stark highlights or unnatural shades. Hair touching or longer than the shoulder must be pulled completely back and secured away from the eyes, such as in a ponytail, bun or braid. Nails must be clean and trimmed, no longer than inch from fingertips. No neon or multi-colors, adornments, designs, glitter or chrome finish.

JEWELLERY : A maximum of two earrings per ear are permitted. Earrings can be studs only and should be no larger than a dime. No hoop earrings. A single side-nose piercing with a pinhead stud is permitted. No other facial or visible body piercings are allowed. Ear stretching gauges are not permitted.

CLOTHING : Professional attire is always a must. Dresses and skirts should be at or below the knee in length. Our accommodation process is in place to work with candidates requesting a specific manner of dress or physical appearance in keeping with religious beliefs or practices unless it creates a safety hazard or other undue burden on the company.
