Qualifications/Experience: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Within one year obtain Serve Safe Certification and School Nutrition Level III Certification. Kitchen experience preferred. General knowledge of USDA rules and regulations, experience in food and nutrition service school environment preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Needed: Uses of standardized and specialized kitchen utensils and equipment; food preparation and serving skills, dishwashing and cleaning skills; positive relationship building, communication, and teamwork skills. Exemplifies the following Five Character Traits: compassion, respect, responsibility, self discipline and honesty.
