About the Role Global Construction Engineering (GCE) is responsible for the design and engineering of all of Intel's major manufacturing and cleanroom projects across the globe. We are a team of specialized in‑house architects and engineers in a highly collaborative environment, working with factory, operations, and supply chain partners to deliver some of the most technically challenging construction projects in the world, under demanding schedule and cost constraints. Our vision is to become the world leader in semiconductor foundry construction engineering. We are growing our team to accelerate Intel Foundry's manufacturing roadmap. In this position you will work with the Tool Install Central Engineering (TICE) team, based in Oregon at our flagship technology development campus in Hillsboro. TICE focuses on the construction designs required to install semiconductor manufacturing equipment around the globe. We design thousands of tools each year to keep our factories running on the most advanced manufacturing equipment. This is a hybrid position at the Ronler Acres campus in Hillsboro, Oregon. Responsibilities Provide engineering solutions and breakthroughs to enable and deliver tool install construction projects that meet cost, schedule, duration, and productivity target goals set by the corporation. Leverage subject matter experts throughout Intel in the areas of Construction Management, Supply Chain, Scheduling, Quantity Surveying, Off‑Site Manufacturing, Finance, and Digital Transformation to deliver innovative engineering solutions. Influence change across key internal stakeholders with compelling data. Act as a subject‑matter expert responsible for providing technical guidance to the Fab Construction Enterprise. Build and drive a safety culture of caring in every business environment, from front‑end planning to construction execution, across offices to construction sites. Minimum Qualifications The candidate must have at least one of the following: Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering with a focus on structural and fundamental knowledge of civil and architectural. 4+ years of experience in design of large‑scale, complex, technical facilities, and equipment installation in high‑tech industries. Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE). Master's degree in civil or structural engineering with a focus on structural and fundamental knowledge of civil and architectural. 3+ years of experience in design of large‑scale, complex, technical facilities, and equipment installation in high‑tech industries. Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE). Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with one or multiple codes related to the structural discipline including but not limited to IBC, ASCE, EU, SEMI, or international equivalents. Familiarity with design and construction specifications. Experience with 2D CAD or 3D Modeling Software (e.g., AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, Revit), RISA. Previous experience with collecting required data and writing whitepapers, seeking buy‑off from stakeholders, and implementing technical changes. It consists of competitive pay, stock bonuses, and benefit programs which include health, retirement, and vacation. Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $118,150.00 - $166,800.00 USD.
